Apple TV will now support Netflix’s cheaper ads plan: What it means for users

Netflix has added support for its cheaper Basic with Ads plan on Apple TV after previously asking users to upgrade or watch content on another device. Users who update their Netflix app to version 2.3.0 can access the tier on Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K, even though the ad-supported package is only officially available in a few markets.
