Mortal Kombat 1 announced for PC, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox; arrives in September

NetherRealm and WB Games are rebooting the Mortal Kombat franchise with a new game set in the New Era timeline introduced in Mortal Kombat 11. The game includes familiar characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and others, and introduces Kameo Fighters to assist during matches. The game will be released on September 19th for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S, with pre-order customers gaining early access to the beta in August. The digital Premium Edition costs $110, while the physical Kollector's Edition costs $250 and includes exclusive collectibles.
