Indian startup Skill-Lync has laid off nearly 160 employees in its second round of job cuts, according to reports. The programme offers upskilling courses for engineering students and professionals. The company initially laid off some staff in April. CEO PaneerSelvam said the decision had "not been taken lightly" and the firm had "done our utmost to ensure the process was as transparent and fair as possible for the employees involved." Meanwhile, Dunzo - a cash-strapped quick commerce start-up in India - is reportedly set for further layoffs that may affect 200 staff.
