Norway fines Facebook parent Meta, to start charging the company $100,000 daily from August 4

Norway's data protection authority Datatilsynet has a warning for Facebook and Instagram owner Meta Platforms. In a notice, Datatilsynet said that Meta will be fined one million crowns ($100,000) per day over privacy breaches unless it takes remedial action.
