Singapore-based online games developer and publisher, Garena, has announced the relaunch of Free Fire India. The game was banned in India in 2020 along with 50 other China-linked apps. In its new version, Free Fire India offers localized features and content for Indian users, including a verification system for parental supervision and gameplay limitations. The game will be available for download in India starting September 5. Garena aims to provide an engaging and highly localized experience for Indian gamers and support the development of India's esports and startup ecosystems.
