Cisco to reportedly layoff 350 employees next month

Cisco is reportedly planning to lay off 350 employees in Silicon Valley as part of its restructuring plan. The majority of affected employees are software engineers. The company stated that the layoffs are a "rebalancing effort" aimed at prioritizing investments in its transformation. Cisco had previously announced plans to cut 4,000 jobs, or 5% of its workforce, in the first fiscal quarter of 2023. The company aims to reallocate resources to sectors such as security, platform transition, and cloud-based product offerings.
