Sony-subsidiary Bungie has laid off employees working on the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, The Final Shape. The expansion has been postponed until June 4, 2024, with the game's director confirming the delayed release date. Bungie explained the delay as needing more time to deliver a bigger and bolder vision. The game's roadmap includes the final season, Season of the Wish, starting tomorrow and running until the launch of The Final Shape.
