Google is reportedly considering investing hundreds of millions of dollars in AI startup Character.AI to support the training of artificial intelligence chatbot models. The investment is likely to deepen the existing partnership between the companies and may be structured as convertible notes. Character.AI, founded by former Google employees, allows users to chat with virtual versions of celebrities and create their own chatbots and AI assistants.
