These countries sign agreement to make AI safe for public use

18 countries, including the US, Britain, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, Australia, Chile, Israel, Nigeria, and Singapore, have signed an agreement on AI regulation. The agreement emphasises creating AI systems that are secure by design and includes recommendations such as monitoring for abuse, protecting data, and vetting software suppliers.
