Apple executive who invented iPhone’s multi-touch screen, Touch ID may retire

Apple's senior executive, Steve Hotelling, responsible for innovative technologies in iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro, is retiring from the company. This departure follows several other high-profile departures at Apple in 2023. Hotelling oversaw camera engineering, augmented reality technology, haptic feedback, and ProMotion. He played a crucial role in developing Apple Vision Pro and represented the company in multiple legal trials.
